an easier solution is to just rip the audio.kext file from the 10.3.5 installer, using pacifist, and replacing the current one with it... worked like a charm for me!

I have the same problem... I had to go into Audio Midi setup and manually set sound output to 0.0 decibels. Before that it was at +12.0 decibels and horribly distorted sounding!

the icar.bundle is what ichat auto reply installs, that is, if you use that shareware software.. do a search on your hard drive for icar and see it if it comes up.

do you have auto reply installed? if so, remove the icar.bundle from your hard drive, as it does not work with panther...
