As for #2, it sounds doable, but you'll need to compile the driver yourself and use it with CUPS. If you download the driver from min12xxw and decompress it, there's a README and FAQ in there.

Doesn't matter, as Entourage 2004 won't work in Exchange mode with Exchange 5.5. (Dunno about earlier versions.) Sounds like you're out of luck unless they're willing to enable to extra protocols.

From what I can tell the mods are just models, maps, sounds, music, etc that are all launched from the bf executable. I can't imagine there will be much porting effort required for the mod makers.

You can sync your Palm to iCal at home using iSync and the iSync palm conduit. I do this at home, and sync at work on my PC.
