I agree with JasonsRX7. A monitor should be something that you keep around for awhile. A good monitor is a necessity if your going to be using it for long periods. Well worth the money in my book.

Running 512Mb on a 1.25Ghz. I have a mix of background and foreground stuff running at once.

I've yet to really tax the machine but no spinning beachballs yet. Unlike running 256Mb.
