Oh... and Spotify's stand alone app, and Mac Mail, have no trouble functioning while the browsers are acting up. Spotify plays seamlessly and Mail fetches my earthlink mail effortlessly

I disconnected the Medialink wi-fi... made no difference... for a few days recently it cleared up and I had no problem, but...

Yeah... been messing w/PowerPoint since I posted... I think saving the PDF as jpegs and then doing a page by page PPS is the simplest & cheapest method.
