I have the same iMac model and with everything set to the max The Sims 2 only lags when vehicles stop by the house. Other than that it's perfect, much better than on my Windows laptop.

Ah okey thanks! Sounds like a pain to me having to run Rosetta all the time just to use current PPC apps. Kinda makes me glad I bought my iMac G5 last month not with the Intel core.

Anyways, rather than CherryOS, I would suggest using the PearPC installer by Prasys....
