Start the book up on charger power then leave it on the charger for 6 hours, see if that helps. The long inactive period shouldn't have done anything to the book or the battery.

PS - If I don't use CD Session Burner, the emac sometimes won't recognize a blank CD. I think it has something to do with the brand of the CD.

I added CD Session Burner, ( CD Session Burner for Mac OS X (http://www.sentman.com/burner/) ) it's capacity is 5.6 MB and it works great, I wouldn't be without it. Hope that solves your problem.

Center to center I got 13/32", the plastic divider itself is almost 5/32". My calipers don't have a dial or digital numbers so I have to read it the old way, by the marks.
