My help center, or mac help, when launched from the Help menu, does not load... instead it flashes for a millisecond and then loads Internet Explorer, and then IE yields an error. I don't get it!

I have a 333MHz iMac with 160MB RAM and it is slow enough already.

My advice: leave OS 8/9 on the iMacs with 96MB RAM.

I can finally hit the power button on the front of my 333 iMac and have the computer go to sleep mode... now in 0-1 seconds!

Now if only I could get the modem dialing sound working again...

That's right... no sound at all.... music files play, but with no sound, alert sounds don't... volume is checked and fine... when I boot into OS 9 it works fine as well.

Although there may be new Classic Support files, I think that the classic Mac OS stopped at 9.1 -- we won't see a 9.2, 9.5, or so forth... after all, Mac OS X is Mac OS 10.0.

What do you all think?
