ooops didnt notice you guys were talking about "mail"....any way if it brings any comfort, the sounds don't work on entourage too!:)

the sound worked when i first installed entouarge 2008 on my osx 10.5........then nothing, not a peep!
but there is also no way to change sounds in the prefereces !!!!! aren't u supposed to click on...
