Thanks, but I have OS 8.6. Since I have only 1.3 gig left on hard drive, I'm not sure if I should upgrade just for Gmail. (And we don't even know if it works with OS 9!)

Just got back from a trip (with my G3 Lombard) and now it's not booting. It does turn on, but it freezes at about 2/3 of the way through the bootup (according to the status). I tried booting up...
