I assume this probably has something to do with the fan, since it is the left fan that is on.

Activity Monitor shows about 95% idle. I.e. fan is on now b/c of all the hard work Safari is doing. This is really annoying. Called Applecare, and all he could do was tell me...

Anyone share a solution? Just received from apple c2d (2.16), and the fans have been on high since I turned it on. Been transferring (FW) from 12 inch and it is dead silent.

Mini won't work as player, says disk mode at top. have tried to update, reset, but these functions don't seem to work. Tried restarting itunes, un/plugging, etc.

repaired permissions, and checked to delete preference in library acom.apple.mail.plist pref file in preferences, but it wasn't there. other ideas?
