The way I see it, it doesn't matter what brand of RAM you buy. Just be sure to get something with a lifetime warranty and you're set. Those chips on newegg will work just as well as the Kingston...

It's not a glitch with Intel Macs, it's something that can happen to ALL Macs. Basically if any program changes that setting (like Audacity) it can mess up the system audio.
