I have a beige G3 300/256MB RAM/OS9.1/ATI Rage/IX Micro3d.

Is it possible/desirable to upgrade the L2 cache on these units?

What else can I do to make this machine OS X ready?

I removed a 32MB RAM from my Dad's iMac and replaced it with a 128MB. It tried to sell the 32 on eBay for $3 and didn't get one bid--and only 5 views. Yikes!

Have to give these guys a plug. They have the best RAM prices anywhere. I've ordered 5 or 6 times from them and have never been disappointed.

128MB RAM for a G4: $25. Not bad.
