Agree with you on the rest but that machine wouldn't be targeted at average consumers. Just look at Dual Opteron machines that are often much more expensive than a Dual G5. Or HPs dual Itanium...

Hmm. MHz-wise alone the single 2.0 GHz is 25% faster and not 10%. Plus it has a slighty faster memory system. Should be much faster than your projected numbers.
