Definitely worthwhile if you want to watch two movies....I have been getting between 3-3.5 hours out of my battery...and a little less...but easily a full movies worth.....so for an extra 100 bucks...

Sweet...went to the gym today....wanted to do a hour or so of cardio so I brought my iBook to watch a dvd...which fit snugly between the handlebars of the exercycle....no room for the Ti!!!

I know it will do it with the a/v cable plugged in....hope that helps....I had tried to use it as an mp3 player in my satchel while riding the bus with no luck....so headphone cables will not work...
