Does anyone know of how to or of an applescript to hide that top menu where the apple is on OS X? I know they have it run at the apple store on the iMacs for the kids. TIA.

I found that clamshell mode doesn't work well at all. However Monitor spanning does work very well and that's what i'm currently using.

Yes I too have upgraded with a G3 600 MHZ ibook w/640 mb of ram. Panther is not only faster than 10.2, but it's (seems) to be more stable.

I just upgraded my ibook (600) to 640 mb. It made a world of difference in the applications I was using (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Office, etc). Everyone should make this investment.
