I dug up the Driver disk that came with the printer, and that worked. I just assumed the online drivers and software would be more up to date and would work, I guess not. Thanks.

I have the same mouse and I've tried both. I definitely like steermouse better; it seemed to have better support for the mouse and worked without a hitch.
