How much do you want to spend?? The Hitachi 7K60 is a fantastic drive, quiet, and currently the fastest available. 60Gb 7200 RPM and costs around $160 US, I speak from experience! ;)

Power consuption is negligible, in the area of 3 minutes. Noise is almost non-existent if you buy the Hitachi. There is no gyration of the chassis either, works like a champ.
