Well the update fixed my stuttering audio and crazy lag times with FireWire, but the mouse still jumps around. It's not very noticable unless you really look for it though.

No it's not. I've tried to update my firmware for my SmartDisk and they claim that the firmware is up-to-date and fully compatible with Panther. I did not have the problem until the 10.3.2 update....
