Musician needs help with mac spec

hi guys i m not sure what mac pro to buy between the 3.33 6 core and 12 core spec, i m an aspiring music composer/producer and engineer, who will be using logic pro 9 with almost all of east west QL plugins, NI komplete 7 and many others. in terms of hardware i ll be using the apogee emsemble, euphonix mix and control and many things. please i need help on a really good spec for my mac pro with future consideration of using pro tools 9HD in he next 24 months.

- Go for the dual chip, for sure.
- 16 Gb RAM (get aftermarket, not off Apple).
- Multiple hard drives (again, get them aftermarket, not off Apple).
- Get a big screen (say a 26" NEC) if you don't want to go blind.

Also, check to make sure that the eastwest stuff works with L9/Mac OS X 10.6.x now.
They were, er, a little slow in the uptake, and constantly crashed Logic.
