(Per Reuters)
Yesterday, on the flight back from Wisconsin, Trump told reporters he will pardon someone "very, very, important" today. He didn't say who it would be, other than to say it wouldn't be either Edward Snowden or Michael Flynn (although, on Saturday, Trump did say he was considering a pardon for Snowden.)
So...Place your bets! Who gets the Get Out of Jail nod today?

Turns out it's Susan B Anthony, a voting-rights advocate who is safely dead. Apparently she didn't want a pardon - she never paid her $100 fine for voting illegally. btw - that's $2000+ in today's dollars. $10,000+ if she had chosen to pay it using gold eagle dollars.
If Susan were still alive, she might have things to say about voter suppression today.

Definitely a safe "pardon". I mean, we already put her on a coin ages ago, so I think we effectively "pardoned" her. Obvs an election move, which I doubt is going to have any effect with women.

As always, consent doesn't matter to Trump. Anthony didn't want to be pardoned, and we won't be fooled by pandering.
