Hello all, sorry for yelling, but I have a big problem. I just updated my MacBook HDD and I thought a did a pretty good backup, but i guess I lost my music, now I do have it on my iPod Touch 1st Gen. How can I get it from there to the Mac and into iTunes.

thanks

Abdi

Yamipod will also work, and it's free.
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

I use Senuti.

It's free and works like a charm.

update: Sadly it seems that no sooner have I recommended it than Senuti becomes a paid for app. The free version is now limited to 1000 songs in total. Gah!

Just used yamipod - not too intuitive but works. You'll need your ipods serial number (obtained via the system profiler - usb bus info.
