No. Just no! It's not Amazons (or my) sky, it's a communal resource.
You simply do not need your shit in 30 minutes. really, you don't. And if you do, go fetch it yourself.

No. Courier is good enough.
Although, if they can make the case of reducing traffic...

At 1201 pm July 5th 2019, the Amazon drone fleet became self aware.....

It would be cooler if they sent a drone to pick up the tip.

Assuming rules and standards can be developed for commercial, low-altitude, autonomous vehicles, I'm not too much against it.
However that's a BIG assumption. And I almost never need something - that I can't just run out and get myself - so urgently that it needs to be flown directly to my door.
I can see issues with "drone porch pirates," too. You're not home when the drone drops off your 5 pounds of sour pickle gummy bears, but the pirates see it delivered... Yeah, not my idea of a great idea.

Good uses: being home sick and wanting prescriptions, soup, and ice cream. But that's only an improvement on courier, peapod, etc if it can unluck my door, fly it to my couch, and then let itself out and relock the door.
