isnt there a site or service that allows you to post a link in your away message and whoever clicks the link is logged.

as in

you click the link and you are brought to a site and it says that you have been tracked.


im not looking for ip's to be logged; the actual aol/aim screen name.

i thought i saw this once before. maybe im going crazy.

You can make your own pretty easily with php. Search around on google, you're sure to find something.

The link in your profile should look something like this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/page.php?sn=%n

AIM automatically converts the %n into the viewer's screen name. Then some simple php or cgi and you're done.

Did you get it to work with iChat? I tried with AOL and also iChat and couldn't get the link to show up through iChat. Tips please...

yeah. it seems to make an html code, but html doesnt seem to work properly with aim. it says <a href=...... and so on. any way to make a link?
