Can someone give me a step by step on how to install the CALDAV/Darwin Calendar Server on Leopard?

I want to setup my main powermac as a central iCal server without buying 10.5 Server (or running it!) but I'm not very build the package savvy.

It is pretty straight forward if you follow their Website. I did it yesterday and it works like charm. I guess the only error was that they had the password tag as <pwd> instead of <password> on some wiki pages, but the original file inside the archive is working straight away.

You probably need to install the developer tools? I also think it requires leopard to run as well.

Check and check. I do get page after page of errors and warnings, but the end result is 1.

I can stick with Sunbird 0.7 for now.

Anyone figure out how to actually share calendars between different accounts when setup with the XML accounts file? I think iCal works off of the proxy read/write groups, but there appears no easy way to add users to these proxy groups to delegate access from one principal to another (short of buying Mac OS X Server).

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output
