So, my White NVidia Macbook's built in iSight works well for scanning with Delicious LIbrary - but I would rather use Your Media Library from Amazon or the free Books. Both recognize the camera and work with it, but they can't scan anything. The barcodes all look fairly blurry whereas Delicious Library's black and white scanner is dead on. Any ideas on how to set the iSight to be black and white on the Amazon page or make it work better with Amazon.
PS Couldn't decide on the appropriate forum for this.

That would have to be a contrast settings in the Amazon program. I've never used it. You might want to flip through the preferences and see if there are any video settings for the camera.

I think that delicious library's scanner changes the focus perhaps?
http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iglasses/ is well worth the money for changing contrast/brightness, and a whole range of other features of your camera.

Built-in iSight cameras do not have focus mechanisms at all, they are fixed-focus cameras.
The old FireWire iSight camera did indeed have a focus mechanism, and indeed Delicious Library tells it to macro focus.
