I just upgraded to Mac OS 9.1 with no problems except for one.
The Macally iSweet net mouse control panel / extention does not
play well with the computer. Ok I did a clean install after formatting
and partitioning and zeroing data on a brand new IBM 75 GB 7200
RPM hard drive. I have three partitions, 15/15/42 GB. I installed 9.0.4
first then I installed the 9.1 update then I loaded the Macally drivers
that I got from their website so, the software is the most recent so I
don't know what the problem is. I successfully have a Macally Opti Jr.
installed in my iBook but I had the software installed before I upgraded
from 9.0.4 to 9.1 now I have found out some hacks with Res Edit don't
work the same in 9.1 or I mean don't work at all. Anyway I don't want
to stray too far off the subject but, I really liked my Macally mouse and
I don't want to have to buy another mouse just because I updated the
OS to Mac 9.1. What can I do short of reverting back to 9.0.4 and installing
the Macally software then installing 9.1?

Hi, I just got a reply from tech support from Macally regarding the
iSweet net mouse and the problem was that input sprockets 1.7.5
needs to be installed and also HID library (which was already installed)
in the extentions folder. Oh, by the way the problem was that the mouse
froze in the top left corner.
