I am using both OS 8.6, and 9.0 on the same machine, switching between the systems using CC 8.0.6. I cannot seem to bring my favorites from 8.6 to 9.0. I have made the preference files in terms of explorer precisely the same in both systems. I still get a "virgin" IE 4.5 when I sign on with OS 9. Can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks.

Your favorites are stored in a standard html file

Here's the path:
System Folder/Preferences/Explorer/Favorites.html

If you copy that HTML file over, everything should work.

Another solution is to put an alias in the OS 9 system folder to the bookmark file in the OS 8.6 folder. This would allow you to change your bookmarks in 9 and have the change reflected in 8.6 and vice-versa. This will work with the preferences file as well.
