I posted about this a while ago and was curios if anyone knows of a fix for it.

It always happens when I unplug my sound sticks.

Is this just a bug in Jaguar? Apple needs to fix this.

Happens to me to, but randomly. I have my G4 hooked up to my stereo system, and sometimes it will spontaneously lean itself to the left or right channel and I will have to bring it back to center. Beats me.

There was a KB article that stated that the balance could drift when the keyboard repeat rate is set too high and the keyboard volume controls are used under high cpu loads.

That's what does it. You can tell it's gonna happen when you change the volume under high CPU load as stated, and the volume changing "skips"... moves up and down a lot... eh... I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. Happens all the time.
