Perhaps they were used during Willow(nah-too early) or on any number of effects extravaganzas during mid-late 90's? Or were they just office machines later? Picked up some vintage 7500's, etc. from a recycler in Bay area, late 2001, and a couple were from ILM/LucasArts. Original company stickers still attached! Were cleaned pretty thoroughly inside and out but still have traces of some ORIGINAL dust, I'm sure ;-) Anyway, put a G4/400 upgrade into one and a G3/350 into another, ram, vid cards, etc. and moved them on to friends. They're getting ready to upgrade again soon and I wondered if these had any collectible value to anyone here- with or without the upgrades. Also have a PowerComputing PowerCenterPro 240mhz 604e/1mb cache MiniTower, once the fastest Mac of all time! that was from Electronic Arts and still has company sticker. Runs 10.1.5 pretty well, and I've kept this one here for myself, great for testing cards, etc. with its blazing 60mhz!!! bus (comes with original and new dust-will clean if asked).
All offers/bids will be treated in confidence or ridiculed publicly-your choice!
If things get too silly (or worse yet, no response), I'll just advise them to hold on to the machines for their (future)grand-kids education fund ;-)
