I made a shell script to start irssi
Code:
#!/bin/sh cd /sw/bin ./irssi
and made it executable

I Put it in ~/Documents/Scripts, dragged it to the dock, associated it with terminal and it worked perfectly.

But now when I open a new terminal window, without clicking on that shortcut, it executes the script automatically.

If I move irssi.sh out of ~/Documents/Scripts, I get
Code:
Last login: Tue Jul 27 12:06:32 on ttyp1 /Users/raishad/Documents/Scripts/irssi.sh; exit Welcome to Darwin! yorke:~ raishad$ /Users/raishad/Documents/Scripts/irssi.sh; exit -bash: /Users/raishad/Documents/Scripts/irssi.sh: No such file or directory logout [Process completed]
If I run the script I get
Code:
Last login: Tue Jul 27 12:06:32 on ttyp1 yorke:~ raishad$ /Users/raishad/Documents/Scripts/irssi.sh; exit logout [Process completed]
I don't know what's going on

My /etc/profile looks like this
Code:
# System-wide .profile for sh(1) PATH="/binsbinusr/binusr/sbin" export PATH [ -r /etc/bashrc ] && source /etc/bashrc
/etc/bashrc looks like
Code:
# System-wide .bashrc file for interactive bash(1) shells. PS1='\h:\w \u\$ ' # Make bash check it's window size after a process completes shopt -s checkwinsize
I don't know why it's doing this

Terminal > Preferences > "When Creating a New Terminal Window"

What do you have selected?
