If you have the latest version of Office 2004, you have no doubt seen the adobe pdf maker toolbar that appears whenever you open any office program. You can close it, but sure enough, next time you open the program, its right back where it was. How in the world do you get rid of this little bugger?

I got this in Office X, finally traced the little bugger down. If 2004 is like X, then go to your Office application folder, then:

Office / Startup /

Each program has it's own folder, and there is a pdf plugin for Excel and Word.
