That's a good sized cat and a "sample-sized" dog. Put a good sized dog in there and see what happens.

A battle-tested tomcat is more than a match for most dogs. Neighbors of mine used to have one that would routinely tear up the local German shepherds, Dobies or anything else that crossed his path.
