hello there i recently posted a topic about mac's being able to understand and 'speak' german - well i have decided to do it phonetically instead.

anyway, i now have another problem. the voices that i want to use are available on os 9 and i access them via simpletext - i have tried running it in classic mode but everytime i change the voice and then 'speak' the text, the audio stutters and breaks up. i tried assigning more memory to it but that did not seem to work (perhaps i went about it the wrong way). has anyone else had this problem and managed to sort it out? if so i would like to know how.

best,

tony.

Doubtful. Most audio stuff, including all pro audio creation and editing apps, do not work properly under Classic.
