Recently my powerbook (12" 1ghz) started not waking from sleep mode. This has never happened before and I always have to hard restart it when it happens. After I restart, I get a dialogue that says MacOS quit unexpectedly. When I check system.log I always see this:

Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: System Sleep
Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: IOBluetoothHCIController::restartShutdownWL this is a wake from sleep
Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: System Wake
Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: Wake event 0008
Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: Sound assertion "0 != err" failed in "AppleLegacyAudio/AppleTexas2Audio/AppleTexas2Audio.cpp" at line 960 goto Exit
Oct 30 20:49:09 Richard-McKenneys-Computer kernel[0]: ^PADB present:8c

Oviously it has something to do with some audio componenet which baffels me because I don't use this computer for anything audio related!

This invariably happens when I try to wake the computer from sleep. The panic.log looks like this:
