"Obsession: The Threat of Radical Islam," Sat. Nov. 04, 8 p.m. on Fox

Obsession: The Threat of Radical Islam

Sat., November 4 at 8 p.m. ET
Hosted by E.D. Hill

This weekend, join host E.D. Hill as FOX News examines, "Obsession: The Threat of Radical Islam."

They are the most vital questions of our time: How deadly is the Islamic terror threat to the world and especially to the United States? Do terrorists really want to destroy our economy, our civilization, our way of life or is this just an exaggeration?

A frightening new documentary by filmmaker Wayne Kopping seeks to answer those questions. Kopping examined reels of Islamic news footage, interviewed former terrorists and obtained undercover footage from the lairs of the terrorists and jihadists.

What he found, is something FOX News believes every American should know.

It's a FOX News special that you can't afford to miss — "Obsession: The Threat of Radical Islam," Saturday at 8 p.m. ET

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,227057,00.html

"Obsession" is one of the most powerful, expertly crafted and undeniably important films I've seen this year. This courageous, utterly gripping expose' deserves the attention of every American -- and merits serious consideration for the Academy Award for Best Feature Length Documentary."

Wow Fox really knows how to beg the question. Why bother watching the documentary when they already tell you their conclusions in advance?

ROFLMAO

Actually, this documentary was produced some time ago and was so impressive that Fox sought to gain the rights to broadcast it. Several of the people interviewed in the film as well as the director have appeared on FNC to talk about the film and the subject matter.

Marden, why don't you just STFU and leave the PWL alone.
I'm sick and tired of your news-recast. What's the matter with you ?

There are some people who still don't know. Did you lock the doors and turn off the lights once you graduated from high school? After all you already knew the information so there was no need for anyone else to go to school after you got your education, right?

Elitist, self centered, unthoughtful much?

Fox wouldn't, for ratings, exaggerate the legitimacy of the documentaries they air ... would they?

What was the film originally about?

We were originally planning on making a film about anti-Semitism. Radical Islam wasn’t in the picture. In 2004, when we were approached to do this project, the violence against Jews in Europe was already back at 1930’s levels. In Canada, it was skyrocketing. Places like Palestinian Media Watch were regularly publishing reports about clerics preaching to kill the Jews. The producer was really interested in doing something on this. It’s a subject very close to him. Over 20 years ago, when he was student in University, he was trying to figure out what was so unique about the Jews that, time after time after time, for thousands of years, they were the focus of so much hatred.

As many times as "Power of Nightmares" got posted here, the least you could do is watch/record it to get the other side of things.

Come on, show an open mind.

And they didn't show the whole thing, only excerpts with commentary. It did get the message across, though.

How many times have you seen the Apple TV commercials?

Ever get enough?

Thought so.

Well, this isn't about some conspicuous consumption item.

My posts are about our very way of life.

Don't like it don't come here.

No one will ever see me following someone around from thread to thread (that I didn't love) just to harass them.

You are obsessed with me and you are becoming a stalker.

One more and I will ask DH to set up a special anti-stalking rule just for you.

Thank Goodness, I dropped TVs, radios and mainstream media 6 years ago.

Propaganda tools/repeaters bore me to death. And the NYT is biased? This is nothing more than info-tainment and this close to "documedy".

The need for drama in everyday life is not enough that scarecrows have to be raised to entertain a minimum of life in a deeply dumbified audience, if not to lead the opinion in the direction of party interest (right or left).

This is nothing new.

It's tragic how Michael Moore and Al Gore can throw together a movie and it gets national media attention, yet a film from the other point of view gets snubbed. So much for freedom of speech.
