I just ordered a Macbook Pro the other day and will be receiving it by the end of the week. I have alot of movies, football games, etc stored on my Dish Network DVR and was wondering if there's any way I can transfer them to my computer and burn them to DVD so I can free up the space on my DVR.

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

I was able to mod my directivo using the information on this site,
DealDatabase Forum - Deals, Freebies, and TiVo & DirecTivo Hacking - Powered by vBulletin
however it looks like it is only TiVo, I heard that the only way to get your stuff off the Dish Network pvr is to remove the hard drive every time, and there is no way to enable the usb/ethernet.
