Anyone else frustrated by this. Mine gets knocked to silent every time I put the thng in my pocket, or take it out, or try to change volume. or look at the damn thing.

I miss so many calls. Often the only time I know I'm being called is when the phone is on a surface that makes a noise when it vibrates!!

It's in a dumb position I think although I know some people whos button is much stiffer than mine, although my wife phone is the same as my one.

This is a feature, isn't it? Silence the ringer by pressing the on/off button. Press it twice to reject the call.

Simon, I don't think that's what he's talking about. He's referring to the profile switch on the side of the iPhone that switches between silent (vibrate) and ring mode.

Mine is loose as well. It's very annoying. Sometimes I put it on silent and halfway through church I hear an email "ding". Scary stuff... luckily no one has called me during one of those screw-ups... yet.
