I really don't have any knowledge about creating a static IP, DNS, VPN, or any of the things I probably should know before I ask this question. Therefore, I'm really hoping there is an "easy" way to do this. I have a TimeCapsule that serves as a wireless base station at my office. I also use it to wirelessly backup my laptop when I'm there. My TC connects to a Verizon DSL for the internet, and I believe that requires a dynamic IP that is automatically assigned to me each time I connect with my laptop. I also have a couple printers hooked up to the TC.
I would like to know if I can both backup to my Office TC when I am in a different location (like my home), and also occasionally print to my office printers from a remote location. Can this be done without a lot of configuring? Does anyone have an easy way to accomplish it? Thank you!
