A friend of mine gave me a cd with a stuffit archive encrypted with the Apple File Security that is built-into Mac OS 9. The file is pretty big, 444.7MB. When I try to decrypt it, everything goes fine until somewhere around 350MB. The Apple File Security app just locks up, it doesnt crash the computer, I can still use other programs, but it stops decrypting, and stop responding (i.e I cant hit cancel or click on the menus). Im guessing the Apple File Security app just doesnt play nicely with big files. I really would like to be able to get this data, is there a way around this? Maybe a different program that can decrypt these files? Even on another platform? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe it needs more memory allocated to it?
