Hi all,
I'm looking for any iMac G5 20" power supplies for the first generation, without ambient light sensor, whether it's working or not.
If it's working, name your price, if it's dead, can I have it for the cost of shipping?

I believe the power supplies are interchangeable - ALS vs non-ALS. You can remove the light sensor, it snaps into two holes in the lower mesh.

Really? I was under the impression that the logic board connectors were different. The only connector on my PSU is just an ATX style connector, nothing else.

I threw one away just a few months ago.
The logic board connectors are different, I did try to get a replacement power supply, but the cost was just crazy, so I threw away the whole thing.

Yeah the costs ARE crazy.
I think I've broken my current one in my not so experienced repair attempts - it's not over yet, I need to remove a couple more bits and order the new ones.
I don't even know if the logic board I repaired, works.
If anyone has any logic boards for these as well, let me know, also my optical drive connector broke - so an interface board for that would be nice.
