Anyone experienced grey screen of death while streaming online video in Safari? Any suggestion on how to fix it? I don't think it's site dependent and it happens with cnet.com, espn360.com. My MacBook is a white Macbook with Core2Duo and with the latest Snow Leopard update.
Thanks.
Joe

Can you describe this a bit better? Are you saying the area where the video is playing is gray or is your whole screen going gray? Is the machine freezing? I think more details are needed.

It is the machine freezing with the multi-language gray screen asking me to restart the computer.

That's a kernel panic.
Go to the Adobe site and update the Flash player to the latest version.
If that fixes it, swear and damn Adobe to hell, and be unsurprised that Apple would not allow Flash on the iPhone.

Are there any externals connected to the Book? I once had a lousy Logitech mouse, which gradually degraded and began to cause kernel panics.

If the other hints do not work, consider reinstalling the latest combo update.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

I fear that this is hardware prob. This has happened to me on an iBook, and your vid card may be going, it acts up under pressure, but that's just the beginning. Hopefully you have AppleCare, if you, take it in or call Apple.
