I know NOTHING about computers, so this may be a very simple question. Every time I try to open an application on my Ibook G4, the application shuts down, whether it is Word, Excel, the Internet, AOL IM, etc. Nothing opens up. I had a friend come over, and he ran Disk Utilities off of the Start Up disk, and also ran Tech Tools Deluxe, which came from his Apple Care package. Everything passed, until the disk got up to the Volume Test. It failed the Volume test after using both disks.
Is this an easy fix or is my computer ruined? Thank you.
