Yeah yeah, I know they look like drier lint.

These are from the House Finches that nest in my front door every year.
My wife made me move their nest off the door to a shelf under the porch just a couple of feet away.

Here a movie of one of my birdhouses with biddies in it.

That nest is way too high for any cats.

I placed the platform up in the corner facing my window under the porch.

The last time they were on the front door and the cat that tried to get them couldn't reach them even by jumping from the rail across the porch.

I wish people would keep their damn cats inside.

Oh yeah, we have our share of neighbors that let their dog use my yard as their personal sesspool.

It's 8 feet up with only wall on one side until you get to the eve.

Ain't no cat gonna get up there unless it has help.

Not to mention we are just about devoid of cats now since I let the cocker spaniel out for a quick roam of the yard when I see one.

I never knew a cocker spaniel could eat a cat.

You'd be surprised, my cat used to somehow make it on the roof, and sleep over the duct from our furnace. When driving up to this house you saw this cat on top of the chimney. Absolutely ridiculous looking.

That is such a precious picture, hope that the birds will be safe.
