Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone else was lucky enough to win an iPod mini from Apple and Pepsi's iTunes promotion? I got home yesterday to one of those UPS notices that I had a package, went to my condo office, picked up the box, open it up...brand new silver iPod mini with a note that I won the Pepsi iTunes contest.
It's pretty slick, has the Pepsi logo with the headphones from the iTunes website "lasered" into the back of it.
Oh well...perhaps it's a sign of good things coming my way.

Wow, cool! I have to say that winning a mini from the contest is not a presage of good things to come - no, good things have already come to you! How many caps did you enter, out of curiosity? AFAIK, the only other forum member to win has been Xeo.

I think Tavilach also won, Xeo had a thread called Xeo 1 Pepsi 0 or something like that where he mentioned it.
Congrats by the way.

A Pepsi rep was restocking vending machines this morning, and I noticed to my great dismay that the new bottles were blue capped again. On the bright side, it means I get to go back to more coke and less pepsi, but I'll need to scrounge around diligently in the next few days if I wish to have any additional chances to win.

I wish Dr. Pepper came out with a promotion like this...my odds of winning something would be 100%.

I was pretty psyched when the thing showed up. Although, at first I was a bit worried because I didn't order anything. Just wondered what company screwed up and sent me something I didn't order.
I honestly don't remember if I actually entered my name into a drawing, or if it was a free iTunes song that entered me in the drawing.
I have a 60GB iPod Photo that I use all the time, but I was scared to bring a $600 iPod to the gym. I'm giving my Mom my Shuffle and using the Mini for the gym now.
I kind of like the Pepsi logo on the back, it's a unique toy among the sea of white earbuds in NYC.

I didn't win an iPod and I turned in over 40 caps.
Yeah, it sucks. No more iTunes caps. I still have a ton of buy 1 get 1 free caps as well. Now I have to trade them in for plain bottles. Crap.

I have never understood how people like this so much. It tastes like carbonated prune juice to me. And I don't hate prune juice. I love root beer though and most people seem to like one or the other but not both.

One nice thing about where I work in the winter. Lots of Pepsi sales, and lots of bottles trown away at our location. I hit 200 free songs (the limit) after the first 30 days or so....
I even made a point to enter my 10 songs for the day during a dead hour in hopes of increasing my chances. I get up for work at 5:30am EST, and would usually enter the caps at a little after 6am EST/3am PST. I figured that would be the best time to do it.... No iPod mini for me, oh well.

Are you sure it is a Coke product? I thought it was distributed by 7up drivers around here (Michigan)...
