It's a little cry for help: safari all of a sudden refuses to launch, the icon bumps forever, and it only understands a "force quit"...
Permissions have been repaired, and osx is 10.5.5.
It all happened all of a sudden.
Is there any way to understand what's going on, or to force a safari re-install?

Thanks a lot

Lorenzo

Did you install anything recently? Do you have anything in hard drive > Library > InputManagers?

I used to have this problem under OS X 10.3.x. Emptying out Safari's icon cache folder took care of the problem. OS 10.4 and up use a different way of storing these icons but it's worth a try deleting the file WebpageIcons.db (and empty the browser cache too).
