globeandmail.com: Barney cam

The description is wrong, but nonetheless the video is... err... interesting...

Look for the cameo by Tony Blair.

P.S. How do I capture this for posterity?

This is what you get when you alienate all the Hollywood talent. I'll bet White House interns wrote, directed, shot and edited this screen gem.

The only redeeming factor:

"Everything's so clear to me now: I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant. Get it? And he knows it.
That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."

That was actually kinda cute. Laura was the best on camera presence, but overall it was pretty good. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best thing I've seen come out of the White House in a long time!

You got that right.

She has the most amazing blue eyes in person. The bluest eyes I have ever seen. I just saw her again last week--I hadn't seen her in about six months--and she looks as good as ever. Although, she still has a tendency to carry big, ugly shoulder bags.

She needs those big shoulder bags. Where else would she keep the hundreds of love letters she's written (to the Doof) but hasn't quite plucked up the courage to mail?

if you're using safari, go to window drop down and choose activity.
a window will pop up and double click the video file. it'll download, but you'll have to change the file extension to .flv
it won't open up in quicktime, so you need to download VLC if you dont have it and open the video with that

So what does all the Christmas stuff have to do with being a park ranger? WTF?

Worst president ever, I can't believe our tax dollars are supporting videos about dogs running around and our leaders telling them that they are park rangers!

That video is actually insulting to park rangers, and mocking what they do. Those dogs are *not* park rangers, and it was *wrong* for the Bush family to tell those dogs that they are park rangers, simple as that.

What virus scare? I haven't heard of a virus... I guess that's why I'm not scared. How does it force you to install something?

it doesn't force you, you still have to say, install this app, but for people who don't know. it's some osx virus in the form of a media player that you must allow to download and install before it "hatches"

I enjoyed it. It was cute.

I know it sounds silly, but I think it showed a human side to the government. They were trying to encourage kids in becoming Jr. Park Rangers.

There was a minor quicktime exploit, but it has been patched.

But did the exploit result in being able to spread a virus?

I don't get it either.

It doesn't actually tell you why being a Junior Park Ranger would be good. Basically it's a video of Christmas ornaments and (admittedly cute) dogs.

It's the Republican anti-park ranger/environment lobby at it again, making a mockery out of park rangers by implying that a damn dog could be a park ranger.

That doesn't explain the whole Christmas thing though.
