The trackpad button on my macbook is not working, has anyone else had a problem similar to this? I have read that some of the macbooks had a issue of a "squishy" or less responsive trackpad button which was solved by placing a folded piece of paper between the battery and the place where the trackpad button would click on the inside of the bateery compartment, I have tried this and it makes the actual click feel more robust, but the click action does not execute. Can anyone offer any solution?
