I have a MacBook Pro and a Microsoft Intellipoint mouse.

After I open my computer or wake it up after sleeping my microsoft mouse no longer works, requiring me to unplug and replug it.

Also: the vertical scroller isn't working properly, and scrolls at an incredibly slow speed in firefox ever since i reassigned the button's function from "Expose" to "Mac assigned..."

Anyone know of any possible fixes or anyone else experiencing a similar problem?

Make sure you have the latest version of the Intellipoint software.

I use the M$ Stark mouse with my MacBook and haven't had any problems and have changed the middle button to something different. Like Macola says check you've got the latest driver.
