This is basically what happens when a non-pro, gets a hold of a bunch of pro stuff...

I took some pictures with my new D2H, and did some of them in the "Verticle" or "portrait" mode holding the camera vertically... however, after downloading them into my Mac (I use iPhoto to keep my pictures in order), I am unable to pull them up with photoshop cs.. my other RAW files in the landscape mode pull up fine, but the vertical ones don't, CS gives me the following error...

"Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."

What in the world is it talking about? Also, what is the PNG download on Adobe's website.. do I want to "convert" all my RAW files with this, or forget about it?

Thanks to those real experts who have the time and patience to answer my questions..

Have you updated the RAW plugin from the Adobe site? What version of plugin are you using?

I did update it to the 2.3 version, However I just solved my problem... Some how, the photo's I was double clicking on to launch photoshop were not the same as the originals.. I did a "get info" on them, and found them to be 232K or so vs the 6+ MB size they should be. Some how these photos were created in my iphoto folder.. strangely they were cropped too to look like the camera was held in the vertical..

I got rid of them, and now all is well... very odd behavior.
