I thought it would be cool if we all posted links to either our homepages. We hang out with each other here most of the day yet know so little about one another, perhaps our WebPages will help us learn more about each other.

Anywho, here's mine:

I have been contemplating web design for a few weeks now. Pretty much as soon as my job at the garden center let me go, I got extremely bored, but I don't really know where to begin.. I have read all sorts of tutorials and tried some software, but I don't think I have the grasp yet to even start..

Those two websites are great. I love the minimalist design of them, they're easy on the eye and the information is communicated very well..

Can anyone give me a few pointers on where to begin, what software to buy, that sort of thing.. nothing too strenuous, just a good starting point? Thanks.

Edit: Three websites.. sorry APU, I posted around the same time as you.. your homepage kicks ass 2

I haven't worked on it much lately, except for some MP3's and a short bio on an old band of mine. It's buried under the "Chris the bass player" link on the music page.

Here's mine...check it out before the FREE iTools goes away

<a href="http://www.homepage.mac.com/chrisrivera" target="_blank">www.homepage.mac.com/chrisrivera</a>

It's nothing fancy, but it was easy to put together using iTools, so I gave it a shot.

(and I know it hasn't been updated since Christmas... another reason I probably won't be paying $100/yr)

<a href="http://sanghena.homeip.net:5555" target="_blank">My Page</a>

Slow, as it's off my DSL line. It's pretty lame right now, as it's a warmed over version of my old warmed-over University page. But now that it's local and up, I'll be working on it. Anyway, worth the trip for the McClure quotes, if I do say so.
